 CHEMICALLY ALTERING YOUR INDIQUE HAIR

The Zen Straight texture is great for holding curls, although it may require a light styling product for extra
shine.
Because our hair is 100% virgin hair, it can be dyed, bleached, relaxed or permed. If you choose to
dye, bleach, relax or perm your hair, we recommend you have it done professionally. Indique Hair can
be damaged beyond repair with harsh chemicals in the wrong hands.
 SEA Tahitian Curl

 SHAMPOO & CONDITION

Use a good quality, sulfate-free shampoo—such as Indique Hair Care Essentials (available at all
Indique Boutiques!)­­­­­—to keep your new hair clean and moisturized. Sulfate-free shampoos won’t
dry out your hair or leave it stiff.

Brush your hair and remove all tangles before shampooing.
•
When shampooing the hair, always wash it in a downward motion. Use your fingers in a
horizontal motion between wefts to clean your scalp. When rinsing, do the same to be sure that
all the shampoo and conditioner residue is washed out.

Treat your new hair to a deep conditioning every 2 to 3 weeks. Be sure NOT to over condition in
order to maintain body in the hair.

cause the delicate workmanship to unravel. Refrain from leaving shampoo or conditioner sediment on the
top side of the unit.

Re-ventilation is a process which involves adding more hair to balding or thin areas. A specialist can also
repair tears in the lace, add hair, or even replace lace where it has been worn out.

When you sleep, we highly recommend that you braid, wrap or gently tie up your Indique Hair to
prevent tangling. NEVER SLEEP ON LOOSE, WET HAIR.

Cotton pillow cases can dry out your hair. Sleep on a satin pillowcase or wear a satin scarf.
 HOT TOOLS & BLOW DRYERS
•
We love using hot tools on Indique Hair! With hot tools you can manipulate the hair by creating
amazing curls and waves. Please be careful when using extreme heat on the hair to avoid
damage to the cuticle.

Avoid frequent flat ironing of your new BOUNCE Beach Wave, Deep Wave, Coil Curl, Organic
Curl and SEA Tahitian Curl to prevent change in texture or curl pattern.

When flat ironing your hair, protect it by using a small amount of your favorite heat protectant,
and nothing else.
•
For maximum curl, gently scrunch your curls and diffuse with a blow dryer on medium heat.
 STYLING PRODUCTS

Indique Hair does not need a lot of product. Use any styling products sparingly to maintain its
natural body and movement.

These products include hairspray, spritz, gel, oil sheen spray, hair oil, balms, heavy styling creams
