Breakfast is served every day in the Café from 8:15 am - 8:40 am for $1.55. Free and reduced status also
applies to breakfast.
French 1A will be learning the basic building blocks of conversation, starting with greetings this week.
French 1B will begin a unit on activities and hobbies so they can further their conversational skills.
Spanish 1A students are completing a packet entitled Hispanic Heritage Month to better understand
this US holiday which runs September 15-October 15.

Mrs. Nieto's Social Studies classes will review our continents and oceans and then jump write into
Ancient Greece! Our lens will be on how the geography of Greece impacted the ancient Greeks.

Mrs. Nieto's Language classes are working on a bio poem and hearing a story called On My Honor. Every
student should have an independent reading book at home to read for 30 minutes, 5 nights a week.
Math classes for Math 7/8 and Accelerated Math 7/8 will be piloting a new program this year called
Digits. Students will submit their answers online and the program will provide real-time feedback on
their answer. If a student gets the question wrong, videos and helpful hints are then available for the
students to retry a similar question.
Students in Sra. F-R's Spanish 1B classes will continue to review 7th grade Spanish.
