HOW TO GET AN ACCESSORY BUILDING PERMIT
AN OVERVIEW OF 9-03-05.5
In any residential district, all buildings shall be located in the rear yard and shall be a minimum
of two (2) feet from the rear or side lot line. Such accessory building should be placed ten (10)
feet from the principal building. In a residential district, a detached garage on an inside lot may
be located at the same setback from the street as required for the principal building providing
that such detached garages do not violate the side yard requirements for the principal building
for the district in which it is located.
