Mark your calendar for an important event this fall.
On October 21, CATALYST: Capital Region Prosperity Project comes to the Lansing Center. At this full-day regional
prosperity summit, leaders in Ingham, Eaton, and Clinton counties will explore innovative strategies for sparking
lasting regional growth. High-impact speakers, facilitated discussions, networking, and action planning will
culminate in a community-based agenda for strengthening the entire Capital region.
Featured speakers including Governor Rick Snyder and others to be announced will collaborate with participants
to answer three key questions:
•
What do we know about the Capital region’s current opportunities and challenges?
•
What do we dream for the future of the Lansing area?
•
What will we do to achieve our vision of tomorrow?
CATALYST will explore strategies and partnerships related to economic growth and development, placemaking
and transportation, talent development, and much more. You will leave with concrete action steps you and your
organization can take to be part of a regional solution for building lasting prosperity.
The event is hosted by a coalition of partners including the Lansing Regional Chamber, the Tri-County Regional
Planning Commission, the Lansing Economic Area Partnership, Capital Area Michigan Works!, Lansing Community
College and Michigan State University.
