Food Assignments for the 2010 Regional Meet February 12-14, 2010 On the following list you will find your food assignment for the very LARGE Regional Meet. Each family has been assigned a $30 monetary donation, a small list of items to purchase, or a baking/cooking role. ALL food assignments are due on Friday, February 12th unless otherwise noted! The items you have been assigned to buy should cost you around $30. Items have been priced at BJ’s and Costco. You will find the quantities that I have assigned at the warehouse stores but feel free to buy your items where it is most convenient for you. On Friday when you drop off your food assignment/monetary donation at the snack bar, please make sure you check in with Cathy Schoen so that your name can be checked off the list. If you have a cash monetary donation, please put it in an envelope with your name on it. If you have any questions or concerns about your food assignment, please contact me at [email protected]. If you are unable to attend or are not working a particular session, please arrange to have someone else deliver your food. SPECIFIC GUIDELINES -- PLEASE DO NOT SUBSTITUTE ITEMS OR SIZES Gatorade – should be the 20 oz. plastic bottles only. There are 24 bottles in a case. Water – should be the .5 liter/16 oz. size. There are 32-35 bottles in each case. If you buy 24-bottle cases, please do the math and bring the correct number of bottles! Pasta Salad (meatless) – Use 5 pounds of dry pasta (rotini or penne). Mix in peas and carrots and dress lightly (so it doesn’t get soggy) with a mild Italian dressing (Fanny’s brand is a great choice and can be purchased in the area at most grocery stores). Please pack the salad in gallon size Ziploc bags. Chili – Please make one batch of the Swim Meet Chili recipe. Please bring the chili to the meet in a crock pot if you have one. Pulled Pork – Please make 6 pounds with two McCormick BBQ pork seasoning packets. Monetary assignments – Make out your $30 check to Shawmut Aquatic Club or pay cash on February 12th. Monetary assignments are used to restock the snack bar over the weekend. To the families assigned to bring a cooler – Please put one or two bags of ice in the cooler when you deliver it. The ice supply at Keefe is not unlimited so we appreciate your help! Coolers, crock pots, baskets, bowls – Please be sure to mark your things with your name so you may retrieve them easily after the meet! Thank you all so much for your help! It really takes the whole team to run a terrific snack bar!
