This short description is a potted summary to give you a sense of how things may work for you. The Edward Jenner Programme is a free and accessible online Leadership package, designed to fit flexibly around your work and other commitments. There are 21 online sessions (including an introductory session), and they can be completed at your own time and at your own pace. A typical week might look like this: • Going online once or twice a week to complete a session – you might do this after work or even during your lunch hour. Once you’ve logged in you might do an interactive exercise, watch some video clips, or read through an article by a leadership expert. Each session should take no longer than 30 to 40 minutes to complete but every activity within a session tells you how long it will take to help you decide when to do it. • After completing a session you should spend some time reflecting on your own behaviours and how they relate to what you’ve just learned – you might even want to keep a journal to keep a record of your thoughts and experiences as your progress through the sessions. • During the day, you should discuss what you’ve learned with your team members and brainstorm ways to apply new approaches in the workplace.
