NEWS AND OPPORTUNITIES
Congregation Meeting—On May 3rd we will be
having a lunch following our second service prior
to the congregation meeting starting at 1pm.
Please sign up at the Welcome Centre if you are
planning to attend. Childcare will be provide
during the meeting.
3DM—There will be a 3DM informational meeting
on May 3rd during first service in Room 112. All
are welcome to attend.
Food Drive—We are looking for volunteers who
would be able to help out with the food drive on
May 2nd from 11am-1pm. Please sign up at the
Welcome Centre.
Slo-Pitch—Kris is looking for some more players
to complete the rosters from slo-pitch teams
already established at West Portal. Please sign
up at the Welcome Centre if you are interested. If

Children’s Ministry is in need of some snack
and craft donations for VBS. Please see list and
sign up on the Children’s Ministry office window.

be there and why?
2. Read 1 Sam 21:10 – 22:5. Why was David on the run? Do you think he
deserved what was happening to him? Why or why not.
