The school embraces the Catholic educational mission of developing community, teaching the message of the Gospels, and promoting service, peace, and justice. Through its rigorous academic program, Archbishop Mitty seeks to prepare its students for college and for responsible leadership in the global society of the 21st century. Accelerated, Honors and Advanced Placement Archbishop Mitty offers a wide selection of courses in a traditional college preparatory curriculum. All courses that are not designated as Accelerated, Honors, or Advanced Placement are presented at the same college preparatory level. To enroll in accelerated (Acc), honors (H), and Advanced Placement (AP) classes, students must meet grade prerequisites and/or pass qualifying exams to be admitted.
