Thank you for participating in the UUFS Community Marketplace Fundraiser. The items presented in this
catalog will be available for bid on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at 1112 S. Bernardo, Sunnyvale. Please send an

AUCTION ITEMS
All auction items are summarized below by the major categories shown below, i.e.: Home Made Goods,
Experiences, Classes / Services, and Other Good Stuff. Minimum bids for each item are specified at the
end of the item description. Contact information will be provided to the winning bidder if item pickup or
logistics need to be coordinated with the donor.
A. Home Made Goods (baked goods, preserves, beer, wine, crafts….)
1. Put Some Cider Inside Ya’!
1-liter bottles of home-made (hard) apple cider. Delivered in time for Halloween 2017. Cider should have
a shelf life of at least two years.

13. Stuart Davis: In Full Swing at the De Young Museum
Two tickets to this exhibit of an American Modernist painter. About 75 works spanning from the artist’s
1920 series focusing on tobacco packages and household objects to the painting on his easel at his
death in 1964. Blurring distinctions between “high” and “low” art, between abstraction and figuration, and
between text and imagery, these paintings reflect both the excitement and turbulence of the artist’s

3. Sunrise and Silhouettes at Shoreline, photo by Gary W Hartz
Limited edition photo by Gary W. Hartz, a past, very active UUFS member. Birds on old dock pilings
(that have since decayed and are gone) in the water at Shoreline, Mountain View, combine with early

morning light and reflections in the water to make this horizontal 29-1/2" X 20-5/8" framed print a
calming influence for your space. Photo believed to be from early 1990s. Must see to appreciate the
beauty and composition. A matted version of the same print hangs prominently in the living room at
Teri's house.

Limited edition photo. Late day, low light allowed a blue tint on the San Bernardino mountain ridges,
giving a surreal feel in this horizontal 36" X 26-1/8" framed and matted print. Ideal size for living room or

Do you have an empty earthenware bowl or heirloom pot that would look great filled with a variety of

6. Wooden UU Art Clock
Wooden art clock with UU inspired marquetry logo. Face marquetry veneers are: background =
birdseye maple, numbers = rosewood, 1st ring = cherry, 2nd ring = makore, chalice = olive burl, flames
= flame koa. The clock sides/body is made from solid walnut. Each clock measures 11.5" diameter and
is 1.75" thick and has a slightly different face; highest bidder will get first choice, next highest bidder
gets second choice, etc. Will require a wall anchor and screw or a picture hook to wall-mount. Cost of
