School personnel checked hallways and classrooms and then announced that the drill was complete. All students did a wonderful job! PTA NEWS Hats off to a new playground! Drama Club News Our drama club continues to work diligently every Tuesday in order to present PVES with an awesome production of Cinderella. If your child is in Drama Club, please help them find the items for their costume ASAP. Also, please make sure your child has a snack every Tuesday and that you arrive promptly at 4:30 for student pick up! Students should practice their lines at home on a daily basis. Parent Power There are many ways you can support your child’s learning and school. Here are a few ideas: Spend a few minutes every evening looking over handouts your youngster brings home. Fill out forms to return the next day. Tell your child’s teachers if you can help them out at school or home. Make sure teachers know you appreciate their efforts. From time to time, send a thank-you note or an email. Contact your youngster’s teacher immediately if you see a problem. Working together will help your child succeed. Attend conferences, parent meetings, and school events regularly.
