Organize a Wear Orange for MS Day at Your Company or School
Follow these handy tips to create a fun workplace or school activity that will generate
awareness and raise money toward your fundraising goal.
• Contact your HR department or your school administrator to review the program
and secure appropriate approvals.
• Promote your Wear Orange for MS Day program via e-mail, memos, fliers,
Facebook and more. Be sure to include the following in all communications:

Date of your Wear Orange for MS promotion
Minimum donation requested (usually $5)
Your contact information
• Give each person who donates a Join the Movement sticker. Stickers are available
online. The stickers should be printed on Avery 5294 (large round labels).
• Request that all checks be made out to the Wear Orange for MS Day coordinator.
Once all donations are collected, the coordinator should write a single check to
the National MS Society-Wisconsin Chapter to represent the total amount of
donations.

and mail or deliver to:

• If the donation should be credited to a particular Walk MS team or individual as
part of your pledge fulfillment, be sure to include that information with your
check. The amount will then be credited to your account.
