World-class dining, Greater Raleigh Style A Story idea: Raleigh Brewing Company, which opened its doors in 2013, is the only female-owned lready known for topping the lists of Best Places to Live, Most Wired City and Best Places to Raise a Family, just to name a few, the Raleigh area can add an award winning culinary scene to the list. Story idea: Art 2 Wear, an annual show produced by the N.C. State University College of Textiles & Design challenges designers to imagine, create, and inspire by expressing their point of view through wearable art. Event Scene: Wacky Festivals N.C. State University The Raleigh area is all about liveliness and a celebratory spirit–zest, a simple word with big meaning. Greater Raleigh offers historic charm combined with unique festivals and events that set the area apart.
