The story of Garuda’s birth and deeds is told in the first book of the great Mahabharata. Mahabharata According to the epic, epic when Garuda first burst forth from his egg, he appears as a raging inferno inf equal to the cosmic conflagration that consumes the world at the end of every age. According to ancient Hindu text ,after the carnage of Mohenjo--daro a few-some flying monster appeared in the sky ,it was called the Garuda .In Mahabharata, the Garuda is i “a massive bird-like creature with red wings ,red face ,golden body and an eagle’s beak ,with a crown on his head ,have ability to grow large and small, appear and disappear at will ,so large that it would block out the sun.” There are certain stories of Vishnu riding on him on occasion .Each and every time it would descend from the th sky, he would create hurricane winds and upon hiss descent the earth would shake, shake dust would flap in air and everyone in vicinity would be terrified. According to Hindu mythology, mythology Garuda was born out of the cosmic event that occurs after destruction d of every age. Could this been have somehow connected ected to radioactive poisoning within a zone of high radiation? We cannot know the answer but we know that within India and Pakistan there are known zones of high radioactivity than the normal. The Th logic declares that somehow genetic mutations will have been within those place. If Mohenjo-dar daro was a sight of nuclear attack attack, could it be possible that Garuda was a mutant beast created as byproduct of intense radioactivity? activity? According to science mutation is caused by radiation creating gigantic size insects; but in fact mutations occur all the time and there is no recorded evidence of a creature born out of mutation converting one specie into another .most of the mutations are lethal. But if Garuda was not out of genetic mutation what could explain it existence ?If Garuda was not a mutation byproduct ,what was it ?Now here we have a carving of Garuda .At the top they look like features but at the same time they would be interpritated as gigantic flames .The Mahabharata states that the Garuda was born from the raging inferno .In some text passages ,we can read that the exterior of Garuda had golden features. Gold is a metal .Now what kind of a bird is that ?No bird is made of metal unless it’s a type of a machine. Garuda as considered to be a snake eater .in fact Garuda need to consume snakes in order to survive. Now compare a modern plane at port hooked up to a fuel line ,Isn’t that plane consuming a snake? If we see modern fighter jets take off in the middle of the night ,there is smoke and fire coming out as exhaust .It looks like a dragon .It looks like some type of mythical creature ,especially if you don’t know what you are witnessing is a nuts and bolds technology .So of course you are going to liken it to some living creature. In 1875.the YvmaanikaYvmaanika Shaastra, a fourth century B.C. text written by Maharshi Bhardwaj ,was discovered in a temple in India .The book dealt with the operation of ancient vimana and included information on steering .the vimanas ISSUE - 5 were said to be propelled by a yellowyellow white liquid, had compartment of warfare and inside the plane we could here sounds from inside other vimanas and had capabilities to disappear from other vimanas . Now compare this with modern aircrafts the modern Americ American B2 Stealth Bomber .It doesn’t appear on the radar .Can be refilled with fuel when anytime during aviation too, has computers for communication from other planes and from the ground. Isn’t there some similarity? The ancient Hindu text ar are ‘the longest written poetic creations’ and poets often compare an event with the living nature giving the accounts and describing them in comparison with nature. The laws of universe tell us that in the universe everything gets disintegrated and the complexity of the universe is increasing just like the universe was born out of a single particle but now has many galaxies, many nebulae and particulates. The entropy or measure of disorder tend to infinity . UMANG - MAY 14 PAGE - 2 Similarly ,is it possible that the actual events that took place in our ancient past have disintegrated by these poetic interpretations and what we have ave perceived has disintegrated further? Did our ancestors witness a highly advanced spacecraft? Did our ancestors worshipped the extra terrestrials as gods because they didn’t knew these technology ,thinking if it was magic ,divine intervention, spirituality, ity, which it never was? -Akash Patil 6th semester ( Electrical ) biography Georg Simon ohm (Mar 16, 1797 - July 6, 1854) George Simon ohm was a German physicist. He started his research with electromagnetic cell. He used equipment of his own creation and determined that there is a direct proportionality between the potential difference across a conductor and the resultant current. He was able to define the relationship among voltage, current and resistance, which represents the true beginning of electric ccircuit analysis. He published his law ’Ohm’s Law’ in 1827. Initially his work was received with little enthusiasm, but later Royal Society recognised it and awarded ’Copley Medal’ in 1841. In 1881, at the meeting of The International Congress Of Electrical Engineers in Paris, it was decided that the resistance be expressed in OHM (Ω). With a view to work in a core electrical industry, I landed up in pune just after my final year results were out. It was really difficult task for me to search a job that to in a core electrical based industry. While searching I come across a walking in assent for a transformer manufacturing unit a pune. But the requirement was of two years of experience in relevant field. It was really challenging for me to convince them that even being a fresher , I am capable enough to work at factory if they provide me with basic training. I had to face various technical questions during my interview which included the basic of transformer & various routine tests related to transformer. As all those basic were taught in college & various experiments ex. No load test, full load test, etc were performed during college practical, it was possible for me to prove myself up to their expectation. Moreover, my final year project, “ Inspection of transmission line by using robot & various achievements based on that project at national & international level competitions proved vital for my selection at NISSAR Transformer Pvt. Ltd, pune as quality control & testing engg. My advice to juniors & coming batches to concentrated on basic of electrical engg & take their practical in laboratories seriously. Practical performed in college & the final year project is the only practical experience for a fresher. Moreover communication skills & fluency in English is very important. It was my pleasure to be a part of electrical engg department of KDKCE & would like to thank & will always be grateful to all of my professors for their guidance & support. Thank you KDKCE, Saurabh uttarwar B.E.[ Electrical Engg] Batch - 2013 ISSUE - 5 UMANG - MAY 14 PAGE - 4
