Handling of dry products
To maintain an even mix of different substances in a product where all particles has special
characters is for many companies a must. Examples of this can be ingredients in food, active
substances in pharmaceuticals or the mix of materials in other products. The Silo BeConts®
special construction allows a mass flow which allows a fully emptied container.
When you handle dry products often problems occur due to different
sizes, weights and friction which all leads to separation. Meaning the
material first in – is not the first out.
By using the Silo BeCont® you allow the first material in to be the
first material out and at the same time avoiding common problems
with separation. The reason why, is the design of the cone which
allows a mass flow. When getting a mass flow the need for emptying
the silo through vibration or airflow is eliminated, methods those on
their own can lead to increased separation. Silo BeCont® has rather a
mixing function and can even be used for mixing a material by placing
two silos on to of each other. Increased efficiency is achieved be
decreased scrap, decreased need for mixing, easy handling and that
the Silo BeCont® after filling is ready to be transported to the next
step in the process. Silo BeCont® is delivered with or without frame
for handling with forklift or for installation in buildings.
The product is as standard produced in natural polyethylene, but can
also be delivered with black pigmented. Polyethylene is characterized
by its good resistance towards both acid and basic liquids and its
good resistance to corrosion. All products are manufactured in

FDA approved material and the final products have been approved
according to Normpack’s rules concerning migration. The Silo
BeCont® is mostly used for transports and internal handling within
the food industry and processing industry.
Since the Silo BeCont® is produced by rotational moulding in
one piece there are no splices and no weak points that can cause
contamination or cleaning issues. This together with the large
radiuses allows an easy cleaning and maintenance. At the end of the
life cycle the material in the silo is fully recyclable. Rotational moulded
products can be used in a wide temperature span starting from
approximately -30°C to +70°C. At higher temperatures above +30°C
we recommend you to contact your contact person at Cipax for more
information.
All welding is carried out in accordance to SS-EN 13067*. Cipax is
also certified according to ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001:2004.

Cipax Silo
Cipax Silo is produced in rotational moulded polyethylene and is resistant to most chemicals and
is also approved for direct contact with foodstuff. This makes the Cipax Silo a good choice within
a number of fields where there is a need for a larger silo. The Cipax Silos are also ideal when your
goal is to extract large particles from your fluid. The 30º conical bottom and Ø 600 mm manhole
is standard equipment. The stand is normally delivered painted but can also be supplied in
stainless steel. We install internal threads, flanged connectors and connectors with smooth ends.
The specially adapted silo is then ready for use directly from delivery.

Material container
Stackable material container
Material container for the storage or transportation of free floating dry products such as granule,
pellets and tablets. The product has a conical bottom for a fully drainable container.
The material container can easily be handled using forklift from all directions. Furthermore the
containers can be stacked on top of each other, allowing more than one container to be used for a
specific material.

The container is produced in recyclable polyethylene and is FDA approved. The product is mainly used
for transporting and internal handling within the plastic- and technical industry. In order to reduce the
static electricity that might build up in some applications the container can be produced in anti-static
material, which improves both efficiency and the working environment.
The material container is in standard edition delivered with two sight glasses, bottom damper and lid.
As accessories comes cam lock pipe for vacuum distribution system and stacking kit.
