ATCC Medium: MD-8162 Coating Solution (Collagen-Fibronectin-BSA)
Make the 1mg/1ml BSA Solution:
BSA…………….…………50mg
Cell Water (ATCC 30-2205) ……50 ml
Combine and mix well. Filter through 0.22-micron filter
**Two separate solutions (A and B) will be made for this formulation **
Final Solution A for MD-8162
Name: 0.03mg/ml Collagen - 0.01mg/ml BSA Solution
Aseptically combine the following in a suitable vessel:
1. 485 ml sterile serum free media
2. 5ml of the prepared 1mg/1ml BSA Solution
3. 5ml of 3mg/ml PurCol Solution
Notes:
Aseptically aliquot into sterile 60ml square bottles, placing 50ml per vessel.
Label this solution as MD-8162, Collagen-BSA (Part A)

Store 2-8°C
Final Solution B for MD-8162
Name: 1mg/1ml Fibronectin
Human Fibronectin (Sigma F2006, Gibco #33016-1640 or equivalent……5mg
Cell Water (ATCC 30-2205) …………………………………………………5ml
Dissolve contents by placing in a 35 to 37 degree water bath for 60 ± 5minutes
Notes:
Aseptically dispense 0.6ml into vials and store at -20°C.
