Getting Started With Your Bearded Dragon
Bearded Dragons affectionately known as “Beardies” get their name because of the spiny skin located under their throats which darkens and looks like a beard when it’s puffed up. These gentle lizards are active and like to climb on rocks or branches and enjoy being held by their owners. Bearded dragons are fairly easy to manage, but they require careful handling and a temperature‐controlled environment that must be monitored, making them better pets for children ages 10 and older. Overall, bearded dragons are hardy animals and can live up to 10 years. Meet Buddy the Bearded Dragon

•Wash hands up to the elbows before handling – they can react to chemicals or dirt found on human skin and after handling or cleaning your pet’s habitat.
