Hope everyone wintered well.
I am sure everyone is looking forward to a great summer on Pickerel Lake.
Information regarding Recovery Centre:
The application request to amend the official plan by the Recovery Centre was initially turned down by
Armour Township.
The Recovery Centre has appealed that decision and it is now before OMB.
There is a hearing date July 21 & 22, 2015 -- 10:30 a.m. at Burk’s Falls Arena (upstairs).
There will be a notice on Armour Township Website. www.armourtownship.ca, also if you require
further information please contact the township.
There will only be one spokesperson allowed to speak on behalf of the lake residents. We feel it should
be someone whose property is in close proximity to the recovery Centre, especially anyone who has had
incidents with the Recovery Centre in the past. Anyone interested in this position, please contact Herb

Please help your unsuspecting cottage neighbours by marking any submerged rocks close to your area of
the lake.
