MACE/MACA joint conference a huge success
The first annual MACE/MACA conference was a success, thanks to the hard work and dedication of MACA President Traey Lambertz, MACE First Vice President Johnny Benisch and the conference committee. With a wide variety
of classes to choose from, and great instructors the education was extremely beneficial.
The banquette dinner was a great time for all to socialize and network with fellow employees. As the MACE President I presented former third VP Jeff Vogel with a plaque for all of his hard work and dedication to the organization
for the past three years. Jeff informed all that he remained employed with the City of Belton as a jailor but was still
looking at getting back into Code Enforcement work. We all wish Jeff the best of luck in his future endeavors.
Among those who attended the conference was AACE Vice President Roy Fife. Roy is in charge of the certifications
and education for AACE and was there to answer any questions our members may have regarding AACE or their certifications through AACE.
I hope to see many more successful joint conference with MACA and even other state organizations for many years to
come.

was her dedication to both SLACE and MACE.

The MACE Annual meeting and free one day training class was a success thanks to Robyn Hamilton,
who was flown in from Southern California. Robyn
presented classes on hoarding, stress management
and team building, waiving her speaking fee for
MACE. All of her classes were educational as well
as interesting and a lot of fun.
Thank you Robyn for presenting yet another great
training session for MACE.
