2. Describe Andrew Jackson’s response to the “Indian Problem” during his
presidency. Include in your description how his response continued or revised
the policies of previous presidents (10 points). Who supported his policies,
and who opposed them? (5 points). How did Indians groups respond to
Jackson’s policies? Include in your answer specific leaders, court cases, or
reactions by Indians to the U.S. policies. (10 points)
