Complete a Broward College Free Application:

1. New Applicants: Please complete a new application to Broward College (top left corner)
2. Returning Students: Please complete the Readmissions Process (bottom blue box)
a. If you do not know your Student ID, you may use your SSN
b. Your PIN is the following: Your DOB (MMYYYY)
Complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.ed.gov (using school code
001500). For more information please visit:

Determine your Placement Testing Needs. If testing is required, you may visit any Broward College
Testing Center and take the PERT Test. For more information, please visit:
http://www.broward.edu/admissions/Pages/default.aspx and scroll down to “Step 6: Determine
Exemption from Placement Testing” and “Step 7: Placement Testing”
Documents to Bring to your Broward College Appointment:

Please bring all necessary documentation to determine residency for tuition purposes (In State
Tuition vs. Out of State Tuition), for a complete list of documents and requirements please visit:

Order all Official Secondary (High School) and Post- Secondary (College or University) Transcripts.
You may bring a sealed copy of the transcripts to your Broward College Appointment.
*Unofficial Post- Secondary Transcripts can be used for advising purposes during your Broward
College Appointment.
You may also submit transcripts following any of the steps below:
1. Florida public high school, college, and/or university transcripts should be sent electronically
to Broward College through the Florida Automated System for Transferring Electronic
Records (FASTER).
2. Secure PDF Transcripts should be sent to [email protected].
3. Submit all other secondary and postsecondary transcripts from other institutions within the
United States to a Broward College Campus Registration office before registering for any
courses or attending a new student orientation.
