Day at the Dog Pound
Orientation for 7th Graders
Class of 2023
August 7 for students with last names A-G
August 8 for students with last names H-N
August 9 for students with last names O-Z
Ereckson Middle School Gymnasium 9 am -12 noon
(Drop-off and pick-up will be in the back of the building by the gymnasium)
Come experience Ereckson’s campus through tours, meet
other new 7th graders, get study skills ideas, tips for
success, learn important people to know on campus, hear
about clubs, lunch money procedures, bus procedures,
and pitfalls to avoid.
**This event is not come and go; please plan on staying from 9-12.
**Schedules will not be distributed at this event.

ORIENTATION FOR PARENTS ONLY
Students new to Ereckson have an opportunity to learn all about
their new campus at “Day at the Dog Pound.” Parents will have the
same opportunity! You are invited to attend “Parents in the Pound”,
an orientation that is designed just for parents. At this event, you
will hear presentations on study skills and tips for success. We will
also discuss procedures for dismissal , lunch, and how to visit the
nurse or counselor. You will learn who is who and what they do at
Ereckson!!

Elementary School Counselor by Friday, May 19th. This
will be a great experience for incoming 7th grade students .
