UNIQUE FEATURES OF THIS CONVEYOR:
The Model TL230 Extendible Telescoping
Conveyor is built to withstand punishment in
shipping areas that have a high degree of forklift
traffic or other collision obstacles. If your business is spending valuable time and expense on
maintaining your existing truck loaders, the
Model TL230 Extendible Telescoping
Conveyor is the solution.
This two-piece telescoping conveyor is
constructed of a 10 inch structural steel channel
framework with very few moving parts. Thus
suppling your business years of virtually
maintenance free operation. The Structural
framework and 1.9 inch diameter by 16 gauge
galvanized rollers are set low in frame to create
its own integral product guides. The frame itself
is built to withstand collisions with forklifts, trailer
walls and other obstacles in the shipping area.
Guards located around the wheels of th unit
protect it from collisions with obstacles, forklifts
or pallet jacks. The wheel axle supports with 18
inch diameter six ply pneumatic foam filled tires
provide easy movement in and out of freight
trailers. This allows maneuverability over dock
boards and door openings that incline or decline
and maintain adequate product flow. The unit
which has a stored position of 32’6” feet and
extends to 60 feet is powered in and out of the
trailer at a comfortable speed of 60 feet per
minute. The steering wheels are located on the
discharge end extending into the freight trailer
which allows the operator to compensate for
some trailer misalignment with the shipping door.
The infeed conveyor height is 54 inches plus or
minus 3 inches and the discharge height is set at
a working height of 26 inches.

Drive Assembly
The TL230 features an easily changeable
Drive Assembly. The drive wheels are
located near the center and propels the
system in and out of the freight trailer with
a 1.5 horsepower gearmotor. Using
soft start and soft stop complete with
controls, allows weight distribution over
the drive wheels for the greatest drive
friction. The drive it’s self is a direct drive
that consists of a 2 7/16” diameter
drive shaft with a hollow shaft reducer,
that will eliminate sprocket failure and
chain breakage.
