This past fiscal year was another banner year for PCCS. Based on the strategic plan for 2013-2014, PCCS was
able to make substantial progress in all areas identified in the plan.
Below is a list of the 10 major accomplishments for 2013-2014:
1. Moved into the newly acquired Greenwood building for our Day Service Program and Community Living
Offices.
2. Signed franchise with Beefcake Burgers for Charlie’s Restaurant to increase sales and quality of service.
3. Established Wellness Coordination Services to ensure all of our waiver clients are getting the healthcare needed.
4. Community Living Services closed Locust house and moved clients to the newly purchased house on Dogwood
Street and purchased an additional house, The Charlie Johnston house on Lincoln Street.
5. Acquired a new vendor for the ACCEL program and have finalized 90% of staff tracking consumers for easier
input and reducing paper cost.
6. Acquired additional office space in Greencastle for our growing program staff.
7. We experience a large increase in consumers served over last year.
8. Purchased several new vehicles, computers in all Community Living Houses, several new agency computers for
security protection, upgrades on all agency phones, and purchased new scanners, printers, and copy machines.
9. Achieved over $9,000,000 in revenue for the first time in agency history and prepared to have a $10,000,000
budget for next year with a positive financial sheet.
10. Hired an Assistant Director, Andrew Ranck, to transition into the Executive Director position upon retirement of

2014 Consumer Satisfaction Scores
All PCCS consumers were provided an opportunity to rate the programs and services they are provided through PCCS. They had the
opportunity to score and comment on each question asked.
Community Living had 70 surveys returned out of a possible 240, for a return rate of 29%.
The Day Services Programs, including Greencastle HAB, Workshop, and Supported Employment had 76 out of a possible 188 surveys
returned, for a return rate of 40%.
The Group Homes had 12 surveys returned out of a possible 12, for a return rate of 100%.
Consumers were asked to respond to a variety of questions regarding their satisfaction with staff, supervisors, programs/services, and
their health and safety. All scores listed below are based on a 1 to 5 rating system or each questions asked, with 5 being the highest possible satisfaction and 1 being extremely dissatisfied. The following scores are the combined average of all questions asked:
Day Services
3.78
Group Homes
4.01
Community Living 4.59
While all scores are above average and we should be proud to have such satisfaction, there is always room for improvement. Each Department will be developing recommendations for improvement based on the feedback given on the surveys.
Thank you to all staff for ensuring our consumers are well cared for, given opportunities for growth and new experiences, and that they
are treated with respect and dignity. Keep up the good work.
