Croda Continues Support of RSPO European Roundtable Event
Croda, a global specialty chemical company, is once again proud to sponsor the Roundtable on
Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) Event “100% CSPO in Europe by 2020” taking place in Schiphol,
Amsterdam on June 3rd 2015.
In addition to sponsoring the event, Croda’s Vice President Global Accounts, Chris Sayner, will be taking
part in a panel debate to explore the potential of both market demand and policy reform to drive change
in the market and produce results for people and planet.
By 2015, all of Croda’s relevant manufacturing sites handling PO/PKO and derivatives will have RSPO
Supply Chain Certification and the company is working towards all of their PO supply chains being
certified by 2017.
The 2015 RSPO European Roundtable aims at stimulating a dialogue that focuses on creating synergy
across the supply chain and discussing the key elements of a shared action plan for 100% CSPO across
Europe by 2020.
In speaking about the RSPO events, Chris Sayner said, “Sustainability for Croda means doing business
the right way, which is why it is a central element of everything we do. We hope this event, and our
support of it, will help to raise greater awareness of the importance in making 100% CSPO the norm in
Europe and the rest of the world.”
