We have a used FLIR/PolyTech Kelvin
IV system available for sale on behalf
of a customer. It is currently available.
This unit has just been
received back after being
overhauled and serviced at
factory in Sweden. It has new
drive belts and the damping
unit is rebuilt. All wear parts
have been replaced as
needed. This system uses a
FLIR SC3000 LWIR high thermal
sensitivity Thermal IR Camera with better
than 0.02°K sensitivity. Cool down time
is at factory new spec.

this page. We had the system set up and
running in the customer home hangar
when taking pictures. The actual
helicopter installation pictures are
from an MD500 with side mount.
This is a radiometrically calibrated unit for direct temperature readout of the max/min
temperature of the object as seen when flown. The GaAs Quantum Well Infrared
Photodetector (QWIP) Long Wave IR Camera has very fast response time making
it ideal for flying. A Video Camera and a Still Photo camera are included in the
Turret (TCU). GPS coordinates show on the display. The Gimbal Camera System is
controlled via the Hand Controller Unit (HCU). IFU and cables are included plus the
FLIR Radiometric Package including Report generating Software.
