Bumblebee Auctions is the national on-line police
property disposal site that sells lost or stolen items
that despite Suffolk Police’s best efforts, cannot
not be reunited with their rightful owners.
Items that cannot be reunited with their owners are sold by Suffolk Police. The money generated
through these sales is ploughed back into the community by financially supporting local charities
and organisations.
Bumblebee Auctions allows members of the public to go online to view and bid for various items
being sold by police forces around the UK, such as bikes, jewellery, tools, photographic
equipment, clothing and much more.
Money generated through the sale items auctioned by Suffolk police will support our charitable
arm, the Safer Suffolk Foundation.
To view items for sale from Suffolk police and other forces on Bumblebee Auctions, visit their
website. Items for sale on Bumblebee Auctions change on a daily basis, so it’s worth keeping an
eye on the items available for sale. Go to http://www.bumblebeeauctions.co.uk

Breakfast Biscuits brimming with fruit and
oats,
these
biscuits
are
the
ultimate
convenience food. They are easy to whip up,
can be eaten on the move. To make 12, mix
together two large ripe bananas, 255g oats,
200g chopped dates, 75g butter, 113g honey,
1tsp vanilla extract and 1tsp cinnamon. Mould
into cookie shapes and bake for 25 minutes at
180C. Then remove and leave to cool. Serve
with a pot of low-fat, no-added-sugar yogurt
for dipping. A great healthy breakfast,
especially for children.
Frittata with Broad Beans & Pecorino
1kg fresh broad beans (or use frozen in case
of poor quality)
8 eggs
white pepper & salt
2 tbsp olive oil
4 tbsp grated pecorino cheese & a few sprigs
of herbs such as chives, rocket for decoration
Pod the beans and blanch in boiling water for
one minute. Drain and pick the white skins off
the larger beans.
Beat the eggs well, and add a pinch or two of
salt and white pepper. Heat the oil in a 20cm
frying-pan over a moderate heat and add
about 1cm depth of egg mixture to the pan.
Add half the broad beans and cook for a
minute or two until the egg mixture sets. Add
the rest of the egg and beans, then cook for
about five minutes. Be careful not to burn the
underside of the frittata. If you have a grill,
place the pan under it and cook the surface.
Alternatively, place a large dinner plate on top
of the pan, invert, then slide the frittata back
into the pan. Cook over a medium heat, then
slide on to a flat plate or board. Allow to cool
completely, then scatter over the cheese and
herbs. Easy and delicious.
