About Roasted bancha tea (bags)
Description
Today Bancha is the most popular tea in Japan. The leaves of this
green tea are picked when they are large and robust. Thanks to a
steam treatment oxidation is stopped and the green colour is
preserved. Slight grilling of the leaves gives the tea its typical
flavour that is so highy valued, as well as a considerably reduced
thein presence (only 1.3%) .
Use
Thanks to the absence of theine (1,3%), it can be enjoyed at any
time of the day. It can be drunk both warm and cold and is
particularly thirst-quenching when served very cool in summer.
