Tunnel Hill Road Sycamore Springs Park, English, IN 47118 Saturday, June 17- 10:00 am-5:00 pm Sunday, June 18 - 12:00 pm- 5:00 pm Grand Entry is at Noon on both days This is an Intertribal, old fashioned Native American Indian Gathering, for learning, sharing, and having fun. Open to the public, everyone is invited. This event will include vendors, dancing, flute music, storytelling, impromptu drumming, Native American arts & crafts and demonstrations, Cherokee singer (Ms. Baker).Musician and artist David Fallis. There will be a candy dance for children, as well as adults. We will hold a question and answer session about Native American culture. Everyone is welcome. If you have Regalia please bring or wear it, come dance and have fun. I will be Hosting The Longest Walk 5.2 this year. The Walkers left from San Francisco Calf on February 12th and will arrive in Washington D.C. on July 15th. This is a 3946 mile walk. They will lay over and rest up at Sycamore Springs Park joining us in our 11th annual Native American Gathering June 17-18.. This Walk is to bring awareness of drugs, alcohol, domestic violence, and environmental issues that has plagued our Native American Reservations and all across our Great Nation.. There is a parking fee of $5.00 per car or $5.00 worth of none perishable can- goods. ONLY primitive camping sites available for the event organizers and participants..
