Imperialism Wrap-up

Imperialism Wrap-up
For the past several classes we have been exploring the issue of US Imperialism during the Turn
of the Century Era as well as contemporary times. For Friday 3/1/13 we will wrap up this study
with small group graded discussions- these conversations will be graded, much like seminars. I
have selected the groups with an eye to create an atmosphere where the members will challenge
and support each other (we will spend time on Thursday preparing). We will be addressing
several topics during our discussion, I encourage you to review the material on Imperialism from
the text reading, the contemporary views on the issue, the Zinn chapter 12, the in class
discussions we have had, my Prezi, your various homework assignments as the additional
