TUSCANY
One of the most beautiful regions of Italy,
a place of unique historical richness, the
birthplace of many areas of Italian schools
of painting and architecture.
This is an amazing place of formation of ancient Apennine
culture, the Etruscan civilization, the Roman Empire and the state
Lombards, and the birthplace of the Renaissance. It focused a
tremendous amount of unique cultural objects, so for six Tuscan
cities fall into the UNESCO World Heritage List (the historical
centers of Florence, Siena, San Gimignano and Pienza, the area
of Pisa and the Val d'Orcia).

Tuscany has an immense cultural and
artistic heritage, expressed in the region's

THE AREA
Le Anfore is a charming B&B right in the
heart of the Tuscan peninsula.
Sarteano, in the province of Siena, is known for its thermal
springs and the Giostra del Saracino, traditional manifestation of
ancient origin. All around, the calm landscape of the Tuscan and
Umbrian hills, the Val di Chiana and Lake Trasimeno.
It's a land where every historical era, even the most remote, has
left unique traces: the archaeological evidence of the Etruscan
Museum of Chiusi, to the medieval splendor of nearby Pienza,
Montepulciano, Assisi, Città della Pieve.

Siena, Arezzo, Perugia and Orvieto.
And just go back to Anfore to savor each time the charm of a
holiday surrounded by nature and taste the products of our farm,
such as wine and oil, perhaps by the edge of the pool.
The total area of the complex is 27 hectares. Of these, 9 hectares
of vineyard, about 1,000 olive trees, farm, an outdoor pool and a
restaurant serving traditional Tuscan cuisine for 35 people.
