($5.00 donation Tournament Entry Fee) 5th Annual Women of the Moose #2336 Sponsored Activities @ The Emma Ramsey Community Center, Saturday, February 18th 7:00 am: Girl’s Softball Team Pancake Breakfast & Lunch: Join the Nute High School Girl’s Softball Team as they serve up some yummy breakfast treats & Lunch. All proceeds go to the Ballfield Renovation Project. (Emma Ramsey Center) 10:00 am: Family Bingo, from seniors to young kids, everyone can enjoy bingo and win small prizes. Family fun for all ages (Emma Ramsey Center) 10:00 am: “Special Winter Carnival Storytime” - Hosted by Nute Library@ (Nute High School Library) 10:00 - 3:00 pm: The Balloon Man will be making an assortment of various balloon animals and creations beginning @ 10:00 at (fire 6:00 pm, Saturday, February 17, 2017 station, then relocating to the Emma Ramsey Center) after the ribbon 6:00 pm: Do you like cake? Do you want to learn how to decorate a special cake for a birthday or anniversary or another special event? Mary V of Unique Creations will teach us how to professionally decorate a cake and make you look like a pro. This is a free evening of fun for the whole family. Refreshments will be available for purchase during the event as a fundraiser for carnival. All cakes will be part of Saturday’s cakewalk events! cutting. @ The Milton Town Beach, Saturday, February 18th 8:00 am: Breakfast at the beach HSG 8:00 am: MWC Family Fishing Derby- (Registration Required) Children ($5.00 firs child/$3.00 siblings) Adults ($10.00) - all entries are entered into the prize drawings Children’s Derby (8:00 - 12:00 w/awards being presented at 12:05). Adult Derby (8:00 - 3:00 pm w/awards being presented at 3:05). Trophies & prizes will be awarded at the completion of each derby! 9:30 am: The 24th Annual MWC Opening Ceremony Please join the Milton VFW and our Milton Families as we officially open the 24th Milton Winter Carnival 9:35 am: Milton Elementary School’s 5th Gr. Balloon Launch 10:00 - 10:30: Dedication of the New Herbert Downs Fire Station. 10:30: Beach Side Campfire - Milton Recreation Department 10:30: Ice Harvesting hosted by NH Farm Museum All Day: Bring along your sleds, skates & snowshoes If there is enough snow presents, bring along your best ideas and build a snow sculpture on the ball field! 8:00 am - Throughout the day, sledding, skating, snow sculpture and anything related to snow! We sure have plenty of it this year! Come join the fun and recreate in the beautiful outdoors! supervision. (Emma Ramsey Community Center) 11:00 - 3:00 pm: Annual Winter Carnival Silent Auction begins. This is our annual fund-raiser to raise money for our Milton Arts Festival. There will be an assortment of items to bid on. Bids are in increments of $1.00. Bidding should be done by adults or for older kids under adult 1:00 - 3:00 pm: Face painting by Linda. Linda will paint a variety of assorted designs. From the simplest to the more creative! American Ride is one of the hottest Country Bands in the area! They do all the new country hits along with some good old Southern Rock! Flowers for the ladies, a 50/50 raffle, & door prizes will be part of the evenings fun! Tickets are on sale at the Moose Lodge and the Recreation Department.
