and Google transformed it into its biggest
European data center.
Since the original 2010 announcement, Google has
invested some EUR800 million for the Data
Center.
Cursor took care of safety, environment and
building permits. We forged the needed

• Mäkelänkangas is an industrial area and the site is
well suitable for enlargement without zoning
changes.
• Site area is approx. 13 hectares
• There is a production hall 10 500 m2 (abt. 197 m x 53
m). The height is abt. 6 m.
• The site is owned by private owner, fast start-up.
• Existing electricity connections are for 1,7 MW.
Possible up to 20 MW. Voltage is 400 V.
• For air cooling no environmental permit needed.
• Multiple backbone data network lines along
motorway E18. The site is well connected on main
fiber networks to the Russia and Europe.
• Google Hamina datacenter is operating within 2 km
from this site.
