We will be there !!
FROM TIRZAH RILEY, Director
This is a wonderful privilege and opportunity for students, teachers, parents and grandparents to share an incredible experience
together! Students often say to me that they would rather their parents or grandparents not go – to which I reply – “I want your
parents to go and about half-way through the trip, you will come and thank me – I guarantee you!” It has never failed in the 24
years I have been escorting the students and their parents.
What an opportunity to share this time with your child or grandchild, and their friends and build never to be forgotten
memories.
God always shows us His power, His direction, His protection, and His love in awesome ways on the trip! I hope you will be
with us this year to enjoy and watch God work as we follow Him on this exciting learning adventure.

Purpose of the U.S. Historic Tour
PAGE 3
“It cannot be emphasized too strongly or too often that this great nation was founded, not by religionists, but by Christians,
not by religions, but by the gospel of Jesus Christ.” –Patrick Henry
We believe that no American can experience what it really means to be a blood, sweat and tears American patriot until he
or she has stood and walked in the historic footsteps of our founding fathers, and seen the sights which have made our country
what it is today.
Our country is going through a very difficult time. We are challenged to “run the race” as never before. It is a time when we
are challenged to stand up for truth and declare our dependence on the Almighty God and His divine providence. A time when
we are challenged to know where we came from and therefore, to better know where we are headed.
“I know that this is in our reach because
we are guided by a power larger than
ourselves who created us in His image...”
-President George W. Bush
We are committed to teaching and training the next generation who will be world changers. As we look at history, we become
more and more aware of God’s hand in shaping our history. There is no better way to rekindle our faith in His power through
us than to learn of the heroes who laid the foundations of our nation and to walk in their actual footsteps.
Our students will learn and see at this critical moment in our nation’s history, that “Everything is possible with God.”
This trip is not just a school field trip, but rather it will be an experience of a lifetime.
“Let us look forward to the time when we
can take the flag of our country and nail
it below the Cross, and there let it wave as
it waved in the olden times, and let us gather
around it and inscribe our motto: ‘Liberty
and Union, one and inseparable, now and forever,’
and exclaim: Christ first, our country next.”
-President Andrew Johnson

comfortable for walking, are great) - REQUIRED
8. Rain coat or poncho which will fit over warm jacket or coat for rain and snow storms, (cheap plastic ones work best, can
purchase for under $10.00 at Long’s Drugs) note: coats are better than ponchos as it usually is windy when it snows and

Empty bags can then be used for dirty clothes on way home
