NECK
Take the measuring tape and put it around the lower part of the
neck, below the Adam’s apple.
Tip: Ensure the tape is at the base of the neck where the neck and
shoulders meet, and there should be a finger space between the
tape and the neck.
SHOULDER
Stand in a relaxed upright position; Take the Measuring tape from one shoulder end to the other. The
measuring tape should be held horizontally
CHEST
Stand in a relaxed upright position; Take the measuring tape around your back, under you armpit, and
have it meet on the front part of your chest, below the chin.
WAIST
Stand in a relaxed position while breathing out, Take the measuring tape around your back and make the
both ends meet at the navel.
HIP
Stand in a relaxed position while breathing out, Take the
measuring tape below your hip and around your back, have
both ends meet on the side.
Qamees LENGTH
Stand in a relaxed upright position, Take the Measuring tape
and measure from front right or left collar bone to your
desired length. AlQamees Tip: As a Rule of thumb, your
height from shoulder minus 6 inches from bottom.
ARM LENGTH
Stand in a relaxed upright position; the sleeve
measurement starts exactly where the measurement
of the shoulder width was taken from before. Take the
Measuring tape and measure from your shoulder to
your wrist. You may add extra inches if you would like
sleeves till you mid hand
BICEP
Measure the biceps at its widest part. Take the
Measuring tape around the middle of the upper arm.
Keep your biceps relaxed while measuring. Righthanded person should measure their right bicep and
Left-handed person should measure their left bicep.
FOREARM
Measure around the fullest part of the forearm
with the arm by your side. Tip: keep a finger
space between the tape and the forearm.
WRIST
Take the measuring and wrap it around your wrist
the broadest part of your wrist. If you would like the
cuff to be lose you may add few inches.
