Thank you for your inquiry about Lake Beauty’s Scholarship Program. We are pleased to be able
to provide this option for campers needing assistance.
Lake Beauty’s policy for camp sponsored events reads as follows:
“No camper will be refused because of finances. When local assistance cannot be found, scholarship
assistance will be available through the camp. Scholarships are available for any person who needs
financial assistance in order to participate in Lake Beauty Bible Camp’s sponsored programs.”
In order to process scholarship funds, we require a scholarship application for each camper
needing assistance. Please follow the instructions below, and then send in the enclosed
scholarship application form(s).
1. Consider what portion of the camper fee you are able to pay personally, and indicate that on the
form. Know that personal investment increases expectation. Therefore, campers who pay at least
part of their own way get more out of the camp experience. With that in mind, we do ask that
you pay at least the $50 minimum deposit, even if it is in small monthly payments.
2. In order to help as many people as possible, Lake Beauty Scholarships are for the camper
registration fee only (not for optional activities); for Family Camps, registration & lodging only.
3. If you have a home church, inquire to see if they are able to contribute a portion of the camper fee.
The best kind of help comes from people in your local church, family, or neighborhood. These
people have a sincere interest in the welfare of your child, and by helping, will share in your child’s
experience.
4. If there are funds available through your local church, have a church representative fill in the
amount, sign in the space provided, and send a check (payable to Lake Beauty Bible Camp) with
the camper’s name and week of camp written on it. If they are unable to contribute, they should
indicate so and sign the form.
5. If you do not attend a church, write “no church” in this space.
6. Indicate any special circumstances by completing the rest of the form. Know that there is nothing
wrong with asking for financial assistance for camp, because there are people eager to provide it.
7. We welcome any volunteer help that a family member (18 or older) might be able to offer.
Although this does not replace the monies granted, it is a tangible way for recipients to give back to
the camp.
8. Return the application(s) to Lake Beauty along with the registration form(s) for the camper(s) in
need (unless it has already been sent in). We will notify you of scholarship approval in
approximately two weeks of receiving your application. Mail to:
