Our Mission Provide programming for self-sufficiency, youth engagement, leadership training, be a resource and referral network for community involvement and partnerships, and be a conduit for resident concerns and improvements in conjunction with the Housing Authority of the City of New Bern. Community Involvement Partnership with Twin Rivers YMCA & New Bern Recreation & Parks Partnership with surrounding resident association for Appreciation Luncheon for First Responders Partnership with Kingdom First Church and Wash Away Unemployment for young males mentoring Partnership with Craven Community College continuing education Partnership with Promise Place for female mentorship Partnership with Craven County 4H for healthy eating Partnership with Care2U Medical Care Safe Environment The Housing Authority of the City of New Bern in partnership with the resident council is committed to providing a safe environment for all its residents.
