Teddy Bear’s Picnic
Chick Update
Just a reminder that on Thursday 18th May,
we will be holding a picnic buffet for the
children and we would appreciate it if
everyone could be involved. Therefore
regular school dinner and choosing options
will not be available on that day. Sandwiches,
wraps and other tasty treats will be included
in the buffet. A leaflet has been sent out this
week with the options on that your child can
choose from. Don’t forget to bring a teddy!
We are very excited to announce the names of
our chicks! We have Hendrix who was our very
first chick to arrive. The children of Willow Class
discussed possible names for the chicks and
decided on Henry, Henrietta and Henny Penny.
P.E. Kits
This week a number of students have been
asking for a spare P.E. kit for their Physical
Education lessons. Could you ensure that
your child's P.E. kit is in school for them to
use. Thank you.
Fidget Spinners
The new craze this term seems to be the
‘Fidget Spinners’. These are a great item
which keep the children entertained.
However, please can I inform parents that if
your child brings one into school they can
ONLY play with it during break/lunch times
and if they continue to play with it in class it
will be taken off them by the teacher and
returned at the end of the day. Also, we
cannot accept responsibility for loss or
damage to them. Please help us by
reminding your child of the school rules if they
choose to bring them into school. Thanking
you in advance.

Sainsbury's Active Kids Vouchers
Please could you send in any Sainsbury's Active
Kids Vouchers that you may still have, as the
scheme is now closed. Please send them in
before half term. Thank you.
Dropping Off
For the health, welfare and safety of your child,
please ensure that you take time to accompany
them into the playground and wait until the
teaching staff have collected them (Reception to
Year 5) every morning. A number of parents are
still parking and allowing their children to run
into the playground from their car unsupervised.
If you are late and the door is closed the
children cannot gain access. As you will
appreciate, this causes undue stress and
anxiety to your child. After 9:00am parents must
bring their children to the office and sign them
in. Thank you for your co-operation.
