The infant room is a buzz with
movement of many kinds! Some
are taking their first steps, while
others are pulling up on objects to
their feet. How exciting it is to see
the joy on their faces as they accomplish their new found movement.
In the month of May we will be
working on sign language , facial
expressions, and sharing.

Our toddlers have been busy learning a
bunch of engaging learning experiences.
This May we will be working on being a good
friend, colors, and naming body parts. Now
that spring is here, we have been enjoying
plenty of fun outdoors.
Welcome May!
This month will be the last month of the school
year before we enter the summer.
I am very pleased on everyone’s progress with the
potty training these past few months. We are
working extremely hard with the children
throughout the entire day.
The fundamental focus is “Destination Summer”,
We are getting ready to enjoy some hot fun sunny
days. Please remember to bring in sun screen and
leave it at the front desk with child’s classroom
number and name on it. Friday May 19th we will
be having an end of the year party. The signup
sheet will be posted the first week of May. Each
week we are working on fine motor and gross
motor skills. We are also recognizing the different
colors and shapes. For example triangle is the
shape of the month and pink is the color of the
month. I would greatly appreciate if a parent
would volunteer and visit the school this to be a
be a secret reader for the class.
Happy birthday Ms Chase (May 15th ). Please remember to always read to your child, and practice
potty training daily.

Hello all,
May is going to be an exciting month. Week 39 will
begin with Charlie the Caterpillar. We will start off

help the students to remain focused for 20 min increments. Our math connection will focus on posing
informational questions while collecting data to organize and record results using objects, pictures and
picture graphs. Week 40 we will learn about Rainbows and what ROYGBIV stands for. Week 41 will
begin another Fundamental Focus. The Me I can Be.
During this focus the students will be able to tell
time of daily events and be able to develop awareness of their own feelings. Week 42 will be the final
week of school. The students will begin speaking in
complete sentences consisting of four or more
words. The third week of May will be Graduation
