Class Participation
Active class participation in the class is worth 30 points of the final course grade. Points earned for
class participation will be based on the number of class periods during the course in which the
student actively participates in jogging, in addition to the completion of performance test, written
examinations, and other class activities. Each of the 10 class periods is worth 3 points.
Course Requirements and Grading Policy
This course does require you to read and submit written assignments as well as your skills
for jogging. 60% (60 points) of your grade will be based on your skills and efficiency in
those skills, this includes effort (walk/jog/running < 15 minute/mile pace (this is brisk
walking), improvement in bast testing time, improvement in distance, and improvement in
form. Jogging only 2 days a week is the bare minimum to see any results ( a third day of
running on your own time can help).
