Our history
With origins in Europe dating back to 1932,
Jet Technologies was founded in Australia
over 30 years ago and has flourished since.
Jet Technologies remains a family owned
Australian company, employing highly skilled

Industrial Solutions
The ‘Industrials’ division is Jet’s oldest,
producing more than 30% of the Company’s
revenue today. The division supports the
Australian markets mainly with Aluminium foil to
6 um; sheet, coil and extrusions;
tin plate, papers, woven fabrics,
chemicals and resins.
An in-house metallurgist and engineers can
help both technically and commercially in
market segments that may include roofing,
insulation, architectural, transport, marine, blow
moulding, can making, cable manufacture,
detergents and shampoo manufacture.
Rigid & Flexible
Packaging Systems
Vegetables, salads, meat, dairy, deli, seafood,
bakery or non-food, we package it all. Wet or
dry, whether it’s headed for the refrigerator,
freezer, microwave or conventional oven,
Jet Technologies can create the perfect
packaging solution for you, that will have
your product on the shelves at its freshest,
and looking its very best.

Jet Technologies Print & Finishing division
is a market leader in the supply of
consumables and machinery to certain
niche printing and finishing fields.
With extensive knowledge across various
printing fields from the largest litho or flexo
print houses right down to the smallest
narrow web printers, Jet Technologies has
invested a great deal of time and money

Tinplate, Sheet & Coil
Jet Technologies is partnered
with Jiangyin Comat for the
supply of quality tinplate sheet
and coil for the can-making (food
and industrial applications),
small drum-making, aerosol and
closure industries in our region.
With a current total investment of more than
two hundred million US dollars and an area
of over 68,000 square meters, Jiangyin
Comat has over 850 employees, of whom
over 20% are engineers and technicians.
At present, Comat is equipped with four
electrolytic tinning lines, together with cold
rolling machines, trimming machines, cutting
lines and annealing furnaces. The current
annual production capability is 450,000
metric tonnes with a value of USD 500M.
This year Jiangyin Comat commenced
its fourth major expansion project which
involves further investment of US 256 million.
On completion (April 2011) this project
will add an additional capacity of 400,000
tonnes for food grade tinplate production.
Jiangyin Comat’s quality management systems
are certified to ISO9001:2008 and all tinplate
is produced in accord with JIS G3303-2002
(Japanese Standard), ASTM A623M-2002 (US
Standard), DIN EN 10203-1991 (European
Standard) and ISO 11949-1995 (International
Standard). Jiangyin Comat is located in
the centre of the Yangtze River Delta.
Jet Technologies supports the supply of
Jiangyin Comat’s tinplate with first-class
customer service, account management and
technical representation with an in-house
metallurgist with 25 years experience.

Perfect Aluminium Products
Hindalco
The Aditya Birla Group,
encompassing Hindalco and
the Novelis group of companies
produces in excess of 4,000,000
Mtpa aluminium flat rolled
products – 20% of today’s
worldwide production.
Hindalco has four rolling facilities in India,
located in Renukoot, Taloja, Belur and Mouda.
All plants apply DC casting technology,
scalping, hot rolling, cold rolling and finishing
equipment, including modern tension
and vacuum palletizing sheet facilities.
All state of the art equipment, including
Wagstaff casting equipment, auto gauge
and flatness control systems. The mills
are certified under ISO 9001-2000 quality
systems and procedures, with an annual
turnover of approximately USD15 billion.
As Hindalco’s exclusive business partner
in Australia, we are very proud of our
assocation. Jet Technologies supports
Hindalco’s efforts with first-class customer
service, account management and technical
representation with an in-house metallurgist
with 25 years experience in aluminium
and aluminium finishing industries.

Zhongji is one of China’s leading
producers of Aluminium foil from 6
micron and up to 1700mm width,
using Achenbach rolling equipment.

With the mill’s assistance and flexibility, our
own in-house expertise, we are able to support
the Australian market and its manufacturers
in the development and or improvement of its
product and processes. Examples of these
may be with improvements in Alloy, Temper,
tolerances, sizing and forming/production
techniques, as well as the implementation
of Aluminium in place of other substrates.
Zhongji takes advantage of this up-to-date
foil mill technology to manufacture high
quality foil for markets that include lamination
foil, pharmaceutical foil, flexible packaging
and building/insulation applications.
Through our exclusive partnership with
Zhongji and our local expertise, we can
supply your foil requirements with confidence,
ensuring a high quality solution.

Perfect Flame Retardant Compounds
Crosspolimeri is specialised in
producing thermoplastic and
crosslinkable compounds with
and without flame-retardant and
halogen-free properties.
Representing Crosspolimeri
S.p.A in Asia Pacific for nearly a
decade, Jet Technologies offer
a range of products to the cable
and pipe manufacturing sector.
Thermoplastic Rubbers (Epigum)
Thermoplastic rubbers, namely thermoplastic
vulcanized (TPV) compounds produced by
reactive extrusion of PP / PER / EPDM.
They are available in a hardness wide range (45
to 87 Shore A up to 50 Shore D) for injection
moulding, cables and profiles extrusion.
Oil resistant grades, grades certified
suitable for direct contact with food (FDA
approved) and grades suitable for overmoulding on polymers such as technical
polyamides and ABS, are ready for use.
EPIGUM are employed in various sectors,
including seals for doors, windows
and domestic appliances, automotive
industry (cables and interiors), soft-touch
handles of instruments and tools.

Crosslinkable polyethylene
(Getilan)
Thermoplastic compounds, high fire power,
low-toxic fumes, free from heavy metals and
halogens used as fillers in multipolar cables
and composite aluminium / filler / aluminium
panels for building applications (for fire class
B1 sandwiches according to DIN 4102).
SIOPLAS system Crosslinkable polyethylene
(XLPE that pass Hot Set Test at 200 ° C and
250 ° C) suitable to extrude in plants equipped
with PVC or PE screws, available in a hardness
wide range (from 85 Shore A to 60 Shore D).
Available in a wide range of specific weights
and fire levels, they can be easily processed
(and re-processed being recyclable) by means
of single screw extruders equipped with
screws for polyethylene and low compression
screws (such as for rubber screws).
Halogen free flame retardant
compounds (Fragom)
We offer high quality halogen free flame
retardant compounds in granule form which
are easy to process. More importantly,
these compounds prevent the spread of
fire and therefore reduce the suffocation
risk associated with toxic smoke.
Getilan is the preferred raw material
in the production of low and medium
voltage cable insulation and of single
and multi-layer tubes due to:
• Simplicity of use
• Crosslinking speed at ambient temperature and humidity
• Excellent mechanical properties
• Excellent electrical properties
Crosslinkable ethylenepropylene rubber (Poligom)
Unlike peroxide rubber, Poligom
does not require nitrogen or steam
vulcanisation, yet crosslinking still takes
place at room temperature in ambient
humidity after being extruded at high
speed in normal PVC extruders.
