SEATTLE, Wash. – May 20, 2014 – Blanton Turner received its Accredited Management Organization (AMO) designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM). With the accreditation, Blanton Turner joins the ranks of established real estate management firms that have met a list of rigorous criteria. After opening its doors in July 2011, Blanton Turner received the accreditation in the minimum time required by showing stable operations for at least three years. Other requirements for the AMO designation include having an executive that is a Certified Property Manager – another professional accreditation from IREM – and meeting specific operational, service and ethics standards. Three of Blanton Turner’s Principals – Barry Blanton, Heidi Turner, and Chasten Fulbright – have served as President of the local chapter for the Institute of Real Estate Management. “The accreditation is an exciting milestone for Blanton Turner,” said Barry Blanton, principal. “It shows that we are leading the industry while bringing our own style and personality to how we do business, and it confirms the success we have had in our first years of operation.” Blanton Turner was founded with a vision for changing the face of real estate management by offering innovative management solutions and service offerings for the new economy. The firm established a Development Consulting practice, which has flourished in the recent real estate construction boom. “We want to avoid the impression that real estate management is a ‘template’ industry,” said Chasten Fulbright, principal. “We make a customized solution for each property as we think through everything from branding to recycling rooms. For us, it is all about the resident experience.” With specializations in multi-family, student housing, and commercial real estate management, Blanton Turner will continue to grow in the Puget Sound region with projects in the works with several local developers. Blanton Turner currently has 27 properties under management. “I think the key to our success is that we treat people like people,” said Heidi Turner, principal. “From the investor to the resident, we focus on the human relationship. That is what comes first and what keeps people sustained and happy.” About Blanton Turner Blanton Turner is a principal–owned, leading property management firm which currently oversees properties throughout greater Seattle, Washington and Eugene, Oregon.
