Rocket tennis teams to play three matchesBoth the men’s
and women’s tennis teams play three matches this weekend, with
each playing two at home.
The women battle Duquesne at noon on Friday and Cleveland
State at 2 p.m. Saturday. After those two matches, which will
be played at Laurel Hill Swim and Tennis Club, 2222 Cass Rd.,
the Rockets will travel to East Lansing for a Sunday match
with Michigan State.
The UT women have not played a match since they hosted Butler
Feb. 4. in a match the Rockets lost 4-3.
All three opponents for the Rockets (3-2), Duquesne (1-0), CSU
(3-2) and MSU (5-2) post winning records.
The men look to break a three-game losing streak when they
play Xavier (4-3) in Lima, Ohio Friday. UT returns home to
take on Cleveland State (4-6) and Ferris State (1-0) Saturday.
