Keyword researching, planning and testing guide Firstly it is always helpful to have a look at what Google is suggesting to search for your type of product. This is very simple; firstly head to google.com and type in your product, our example will be the schnabulerie cake store. http://www.schnabulerie.com Once we have an idea of things people are searching we will now head to the google adwords keyword tool https://adwords.google.com/ko/KeywordPlanner The keyword planner has four options. The tool that suggests keywords depending on your products and industry is the first option. Once you select the ‘search for new keywords and ad group ideas’ you will need to fill in the information about your business and products The keyword planner will then suggest ideas for ad groups and keywords to you. By default, ad groups are suggested in the first tab. To see the keyword suggestions click the tab keyword ideas. Once you have clicked on the keyword ideas tab you will be able to see the suggested keywords, how many times they are searched per month and the competition for those keywords. The best keywords are those with high search volumes and low or medium competition; this is because it is going to be easier for you to be found on search engines rather than keywords with a high rate of competition. If you hover your mouse over the graph symbol for each keyword a box will pop up to show you over time how that keyword has been performing. This will allow you to see if it has always had high searches or whether it is on an upward or downward trend. Now you have an idea as to what keywords you should be using in your content online. From here you can use the keyword tool to compare these terms with other ideas you may have or those Google search has suggested.
