PHASE 5™ / 5°C PHASE CHANGE MATERIALS
Phase 5™ can hold 5°C longer than conventional gel packs (which undergo phase change at 0°C and
have very little heat capacity at 5°C). For this reason, significantly less material is required. In
addition, the phase change material can be placed in direct contact with the temperature sensitive
product because there is no risk of freezing. This reduces the size of the final package, because no
dunnage or air gaps are required.

thermal plates, or a protective thermal cube to surround the payload
without the need for a payload box.

PHASE 22™ / 22°C PHASE CHANGE MATERIALS
Phase 22™ keeps product between 20-24°C during shipment in hot or cold environments. This PCM is
ideally suited for the shipment of blood products, tissues, pharmaceuticals, live animals and plants
that must remain in the 20°C to 30°C range. The versatility of Phase 22™ allows engineers to
customize the design of our insulated shippers to reduce shipping costs and maximize your product’s
protection, or it can be used in one of our pre-qualified shippers.
