Making a picture is easy, but making a good picture is not. TMS parent and professional photographer, Ms.
Terri Burke, will lead campers on a series of fun adventures exploring both our urban and our natural
environments with cameras in hand. Day trips will take us into Old Salem and Bethabara, hiking in a state
park, to the North Carolina Zoo and more. We will learn about the fascinating mixture of art and science
behind photography and how to use our digital tools (the camera and the computer) effectively. We will also
learn from our own pictures to identify what works best to tell the story we want to be told. Campers are
welcome to bring their own camera (if they know how to use it), but cameras will also be available.
