Talent Show Guidelines
•
All Bellevue Christian School Three Points Elementary Students are invited and encouraged to participate.
•
Completed “Talent Show Entry Form” and “Parent Consent Form” are required on or before the
Auditions.
•
The purpose of the Talent Show is to provide a fun family event that brings the entire school community
together. No awards will be given. Most important is to be creative, have fun, and ENJOY the Show!
•
Students may plan a one-person act or a group presentation.
•
Suggestions for possible performances include: gymnastics, athletic routines/dance, magic acts, martial arts,
comedy, singing, skits, musical instruments, etc.
•
There is a limit on how many times the same song will be sung.
•
Performances should run approximately three (3) minutes in length or less (exc. can be made for group acts).
•
Lyrics, costumes and performances should be compliant with school policy and appropriate for all audiences.

•
Parents, please watch the act at least once at home before the Audition to check for appropriateness,
quality, and length of the act.
•
Students must be supervised by an Adult during the Auditions. Once you have finished your Audition you are
able to leave.
•
It is NOT necessary to wear your costume for the Auditions or bring other items required for your
performance.
•
Students are required to attend the Dress Rehearsal and must be supervised by an Adult. All props,
costumes, music, etc. must be present at the Dress Rehearsal, & the act must be performed in full.
•
Microphones, head-sets, piano and music stands will be available for your use.
•
If your performance requires recorded accompanying music, please indicate on your “Talent Show Entry
Form” and bring the CD labeled with your name, song title, and track number to the Dress Rehearsal. It will
be left with our sound technician to prepare for the show and returned to you after your performance

Parent Volunteers are needed to make the show a success; Volunteer Sign Up Sheets will be available at the
Auditions as well as online at VolunteerSpot (see link below).

FORMS ARE DUE: on or before the Auditions - Wednesday, February 11th, 2014 at 3pm
Completed Forms may be left in the Office, emailed to [email protected]
or brought with you to the Auditions.
Students are encouraged to pre-register using the Talent Show Entry form prior to Auditions. Forms

Talent Show Parent Consent Form
