The Bears will look to their seven
returning letterwinners in hopes to
improve their performance from
last year. DMACC is lead by outfielder Chris Richardson, a second
team All-American, first ream AllConference, and All-District player
(.369 BA, 17 HR, 70 RBIs). Other
returning letterwinners include 3rd
baseman Eric Geffre (.336 BA, 5 Hr,
24 RBIs), pitcher Brad Bjerke who
already has recorded 27 strikeouts
on the year, and Aaron Boyer a 2nd
baseman who bats .371 and has
15 RBIs. Also returning as outfielders for the Bears are Blake Reynolds (.259 BA, 3 HR, 24 RBIs) and
Fabian Sotelo (.308 BA, 4 HR, 16
RBIs).

Ericka Holtz and Piper Williamson to play defense behind
them. Devon Wilson will return
to play first base and Joanna
Opiekun is back at second;
both were on the All-Region 1st
Team in 2004.

The Iowa Western Reivers will look
to their seven returners and five AllRegion players for leadership this
season. First Team All-Region players include pitcher Nicole Fringer
