Burkina Faso
The Songhai state has existed in one form or
another for over a thousand years, and was a large
African empire at one time. The first great king of
Songhai was Sonni Ali. Ali was a Muslim like the
Mali kings before him, but did not impose Islamic
policy on non-Islamic peoples. He allowed and
acknowledged the observance of traditional
African religion, leaving a mixture of religions in the
region. The patriarchal society of the Songhai,
along with its history, customs, and traditions, has
been virtually untouched for centuries, eluding
change and building barriers to Christian witness.
Christian workers are needed to minister
physically and materially to the Songhai, as well as
spiritually.

FACEBOOK CHECK-INS
This February, you can help provide a day of care for a child in need
by checking in on Facebook at Cornerstone. Every 6 check-ins
provides 1 day of care for a child. We’ve partnered with
Compassion International to make this opportunity possible.
SNOW TUBING
Everyone is welcome to join the Kingdom Kids and the M2 teens as
we go snow tubing at Paoli Peaks on Sunday afternoon, February
19. We'll leave immediately after the 11 o'clock service ends and
return that evening. Cost is approximately $25 per person. See
Pastor Lana for more details.
MOPS (MOTHERS OF PRESCHOOLERS, AND OTHER MOMS TOO!)
MOPs will be meeting at the church on February 12th from 6-8PM.
Childcare is available at $4 per child.
BAPTISM SERVICE
We will be having baptisms during our 11:00am service on
February 26th. If you would like to follow the Lord in Water
Baptism, please see a member of our pastoral team for more
information and to get signed up!
EVERGREEN LUNCHEON
The first 2017 Evergreen Luncheon for Veteran Humans will be
February 22nd at 11:30 in the CCF Lobby. If you are 50+ come and
enjoy some time of fellowship as we look at ways to be Kingdom
productive in the coming year. Only $5. Sign up sheets are in the
lobby.

CHILD PICK-UP POLICY
For the safety of our children, we want to remind families of our
child pick-up policy. This policy applies to ALL children, ages 0-12,
attending one of our classes. Children will only be released to their
parent, guardian, or a pre-arranged individual who is at least 14
years of age. If a parent would like to give another individual
permission to pick up their child, they can do so by notifying the
child's teacher prior to class time. Thank you for cooperating with
our efforts to minister to and safeguard our kids!

WEEKLY YOUTH SERVICES
Here at M2 student ministries, we believe that church doesn’t have to be boring! We
offer fun events, engaging services, and transformative small groups designed to
help students encounter Jesus.
DONUT SUNDAYS
We're inviting all 7th - 12th graders for donuts and juice every Sunday between
10am and 11am in the M2 room.
WINTER JAM
Winter Jam this coming Friday at Banker's Life Fieldhouse. We will be leaving the
church at 4:15pm. Cost: $10 + food
