How to Look after Your New Hamster
Hamsters live for about three years. They make excellent pets as they are
friendly, happy rodents and love children.
Hamsters should have a clean, nice, good-sized cage with some toys to
play with.
You should feed your hamster once every day. Give them hamster mix and
some fruit and vegetables and throw away any old food. They should have
fresh water every day in a water bottle.
You will need to clean your hamster’s cage out once a week. Use pet-safe
disinfectant and put fresh wood shavings and rodent bedding in the cage.
All of these items are available to buy at Peekaboo Pets.
You will need to check your hamster every day to make sure it is healthy.
