Welcome to Gluek’s Restaurant & Bar!
Established in 1934, we are the oldest restaurant in downtown Minneapolis. We are Fourth Generation
family owned & operated. Our casual charm and Old World ambiance make Gluek’s a local tradition.
Built in 1902, our building is known for its rich history that can be seen in the elaborate woodwork,
brick walls, stained-glass windows, high-arched ceilings, historic photographs, and European Beer Hall
atmosphere.
Gluek’s ís is conveniently located in the heart of the Warehouse District on the Light Rail line. We are
walking distance from Target Center, Convention Center, Cowles Center for the Arts, Orpheum Theatre,
State Theatre, Pantages Theathre and Nicollet Mall. We are 100 steps from Target Field, the new home
of the Minnesota Twins! Gluek’s is handicap accessible.
Our hand-crafted menu including haus favorites, assorted German Bratwurst, grilled sandwiches, fresh
garden salads & homemade dessert. Our 50 foot oak bar located in the main hall offers a full selection
of spirits, wine and over 15 different craft beers but mostly we are proud of our own Gluek Beer label
which has been around since 1857. Currently on draft we have Gluek’s Lager, Honey Brown, Red, IPA
& Golden Light.

GLUEK’S PRIVATE DINING ROOM FAQ’S
Are there any fees associated with renting the room including minimum food/beverage?
No, there is no cost to use the room nor are there any minimum amounts required. We do need to utilize
the whole room therefore we do not guarantee a private party to groups under 50 people. We have the
right to relocate your reservation or split the room to fill should the number in attendance be less than
the guarantee.
Is there a deposit?
No, a contract that all parties will be required to fill out & sign to confirm their reservation
Is there a happy hour?
We do not honor our happy hour in the private dining room but would love to have your group in our
main bar area. Arrangements can be made to accommodate all group sizes.
Can we bring in our own food?
No, all food must be catered by Gluek’s. You are allowed to bring in a store-bought cake.
How much is it for a keg? Is there a private bar?
We do not sell kegs. All functions are staffed with a private server.
Can we get any special deals for bringing in a big group?
Unfortunately no, our prices are very competitive and again we charge no fee for the use of our private
room.
Can we decorate?
Yes! No confetti please.
There will someone under the age of 21 that would like to attend, are they allowed?
We allow minors in until our kitchen closes, times vary.
What kind of music or entertainment will there be?
Gluek’s uses an IPOD for its in house music. Live music typically starts around 9:30 pm Tuesday
- Saturday. You can check our website for the latest line up.

GROUP RESERVATION INFORMATION
The Gluek’s Restaurant private party room accommodates 60 seated guests. We accommodate
100+ guests for social groups. In our main dining hall we can accommodate group reservations
of 200+. We have the right to relocate your reservation or split the room to fill should the number in attendance be less than the guarantee. The private room is free of charge for booking. A
signed contract is considered a confirmed reservation.
Please review our menu selections to create and personalize your event. We will be happy to
accommodate vegetarian and children’s menu needs. There is an 18% gratuity charge added to
all large group events.
The restaurant does not assume responsibility for damage or loss of any merchandise or articles
left in the restaurant prior to, during or following our reservation. Any restaurant article damaged or removed from the premises becomes the responsibility of the sponsoring host.

Cancellation Policy
In order to provide the style of service and food you expect, proper planning and staffing is
required. Therefore we require a confirmed food order 48 hours prior to your function. Pre ordered Food Events
In the event of cancelling within the 48 hour period, a 20% fee will be billed to your credit card
to cover purchased items.
Private Room Booking
For events that do not preorder food, there will be a fee of $50 to cancel your booking.

Group Plated Menus
We offer all plated entree menus in full to groups reservations up to 40 guests. Group reservations
exceeding 40 people require a pre-ordered menu submitted at the time of your final confirmation.
We require a confirmed guest count & food order 72 hours prior to your function. All pricing is exclusive
of tax & gratuity. Pre-ordered group reservations that drop below the confirmed
guest count within the 72 hour period will be charged
50% of the cost for each guest not attending.

also read and agree with the arranged information and terms. I understand that the final guest
count is due 48 hours prior to my function, and that if no final count is given at this time, the last
updated guest count will be applied. I understand that pre ordered food is also due 48 hours prior
to my function. Gluek’s Restaurant reserves the right to relocate my group to a more suitable
location should the expected attendance change significantly. Payment is due on the day of the
event, and a signed contract & credit card # to hold the space is considered a confirmed reservation.
